Boutique Glamping near London. A spectacular countryside setting in a great location. Close to one of the highest points in Surrey, with lovely countryside views. Keep a look out for red kites which frequently fly overhead. Shepherd’s huts and bell tents make a cosy base from which to explore. Wood-burners and local goodies are provided. A communal fire-pit makes the perfect spot for star-gazing. A covered hub provides shelter for rainy days with plenty of books and games to keep you entertained. There’s no TV or WiFi here, the focus is on enjoying nature. There is lots on offer to keep children busy and seven acres of meadow to explore.
Walking, Cycling and Eating
The Greenwich Meridian Walk is 5 minutes away. Alternatively try the nearby North Downs Way. This route is popular with cyclists and walkers. Several great pubs are within 30 minutes’ walking distance. These include the historic White Bear and Bottley Hill Farm- think toasty log fires and beer gardens. Foodies will be pleased that there are plenty of places to eat within walking distance. A short drive will give the option of Italian, Indian and French eateries. There are two farm shops within a short drive. We have a Sainsbury’s which is a 35-minute walk for those wanting to do a food shop. We aim to go the extra mile by supplying breakfast or BBQ packs from local farms, (by advance order).
Things To Do
Join hosts Matthew and Moira for on-site activities including Nature Rangers and Bird Box decorating. There is so much to do in the local area. Nearby we have the British Wildlife Centre, Nonsuch Park and Hever Castle. There are several National Trust properties including Chartwell and Reigate Hill. The more active among you may enjoy forest laser tag or the enormous outdoor play area at Godstone Farm.
